I've finally finished it! It took so long because of all the different shades of metal on the ship.

EVE and WALL-E holding hands = X3

Update 13/12/09: Changed the clouds, they look better now I think :P

The overall picture is brilliant! The reflection in the water is expertly done, the colours are well used and chosen. I really love the small details like the shading on the trees in the background and the overall cartoony feel about this piece. Well done!
However, there are a few things that I think could be improved. The metal on the ship looks very patchworky, but this could be improved by using less tones. More detail on the closer things in the foreground such as the person or Wall-E's bodywork would be much appreciated and give the piece a more complete feel.
I have to say though, the attention to detail on the ship is superb and the water looks great!
Your idea behind this piece is clever and original, and I have to say, I wouldn't of thought of it!
This piece gets my definite thumbs up, as the time and effort you put into this one was truly worth it, and you have produced art that stands out from the crowd for its originality and attention to detail, very very VERY well done!

Very cute and optimistic picture! I LOVED WALL-E, and to see him with his beloved EVE in rejuvenated surroundings like this is wonderful. Well done!

Agreed, I think it's only possibly Toy Story that I would consider a rival for greatest Pixar movie :P

Love them, too. Wasn't so much into Monsters Inc. and not at all into Cars though. But Toy Story 1+2... yes, wonderful! And I loved Kevin the Bird in "Up". One of my favourite Pixar-characters. :-)

Yeah, I really didn't like Cars much. It wasn't bad, but it's definitely the most 'kiddie' Pixar film.
